surprised this has stayed online for awhile now. seems like a decent price compared to where the market is asking for these right now. unless i'm seeing something wrongly? pics look OK, barring any issues with movement as there are no movement pics.

Looks like an honest example, but over priced.

    Here are the negatives:
    -No patina
    -Needs service (+600)
    -Needs bracelet(+800)
-Nees new correct FF insert (+2000)

So if you add all of the above to the $12K ask price, it's not as cheap as you think.

agreed on the points raised but the lume/patina didn't seem like a big issue vis-a-vis the price (seller open to option of making offer).

You're just getting over-excited because most asking prices are outrageous. When these go to a no-reserve auction on eBay, they don't sell for as much as you think.

This watch has the wrong bezel, no bracelet, and a washed dial. As @ATWG mentioned, you'd need to spend an additional $3k to make it correct and complete, and even then you'd still have a dial with no lume, and weird hands.

All things considered, the price is quite high IMO.

At US$12,000 range, with such condition... There're many other choices.

It's got a nice case, but $11.5k is a crazy price for that watch. As mentioned above, it needs another $3k for a correct insert and bracelet, taking the price to $14.5k, and I'm not crazy about the lume. You can go out and buy a nice matte dial 5513 from a dealer with a proper insert and bracelet, serviced and with a warranty, for $15k any day of the week. Sometimes people get carried away in an auction.
