So you think you get a nice one, then some one comes to visit. Haven't worked out how to shoot those superdomes yet.....
The 5513 for me. Even if it is worth less than the 5512, it has a lively dial, with a very nice lume color. Both cases appear in a comparable condition. Now if you can snap the long five insert of the 5512, it would be perfect.
I vote 5513. Cleaner dial for sure. Bezel piece (ridges) also looks a lot sharper than the 5512, the bezel on the 5512 appears to be heavily polished. Only concern/question is the insert for the 5513. Could be the lighting but the numbers and ticks look a little yellowed
Normally maybe, not sure in this case there would be such a ratio, ths 5512 is 4th gen 4 line with normal lugs ( as opposed to pointed or square) it is guilt but for the rest it's on the lower end of the 5512 spectrum. Like mine, except mine is not guilt; it also appears to have been polished quite a bit. Look at the difference in lug size left to right. The 5513 on the other hand is a superb example on great condition. Guilt and little polishing. A 5512 is a 5512 though, respect where it's due.
Nice photos, super dome is very hard to get right. You have done well. Here is my best effort so far of my 65/ 5513, low angle natural light from the rear.
Can't beat a good late gilt 5512/13. That said the 5513 looks to be a nicer example. One of the most stunning features on these is the gloss.....which the 5512 is loosing.
