Not defending Hodinkee pricing and not advocating that Chrono24 is exactly the arbiter of fair market value, but this an Apollo 13 Snoopy, not a 50th Anniversary Snoopy, right? So, in the Chrono24 universe (as divorced from reality as it may be), $48k is actually on the cheap side - 12 out of 15 on Chrono24 are priced at between $49k and $66k.

I really want one of those. I'm lucky to have the new blue Snoopy but that black one is also really cool!

Plenty of people who bought for retail are going to change their tunes once the $50k shark gets jumped….

Could somebody please explain why you would want to have snoopy on your watch?

Hate to say it, but the only thing worse than a Snoopy for $50 bucks is a TinTin for $20 bucks. But hey, if the market will support it, great.

I agree it’s a silly question.
Why would you want a red and white racing track around your watch? Or a crown or a horseshoe? Or anything? Why even wear a watch at all?!

Because it's snoopy...
Why buy a mechanical watch when you can get an Apple watch for a fraction of the price that can do more things and is way more accurate?
