    - Longines L5.657.4 Automatic rectangular Stainless Steel Watch from 2001
    - Black dial with Roman numerals and applied indices, sapphire glass
    - L595 automatic movement (ETA 2000-1 base), working excellently
    - Dimensions: 26mm width, 32mm tall (40mm with lugs)
    - Comes in original box- Asking $500 inc. shipping within the continental US, will ship worldwide for additional cost

Up for sale is a very good looking, elegant Longines wristwatch. It's rectangular, slightly curved shape and Roman numeral dial reminds me of classics such as the Cartier Tank, but with Longines own unique facets.

The movement inside is the automatic L595, which is Longines' designation for the ETA 2000-1. Whilst its service history is unknown, the movement is working perfectly and keeps accurate time (within a few seconds a day, though I haven't timed it precisely).

The watch is in excellent condition, with minor swirls and superficial scratches on the sides and bezel, but pristine dial and sapphire glass. The pictures tell the story here.

The dimensions of the watch are as follows:
    - width 26mm (without crown)
    - length 32mm not counting lugs (40mm with lugs)
    - 20mm lug width (strap width)
    - ca. 8 mm thickness

Please keep in mind that square / rectangular watches wear larger than their dimensions suggest -- see the wristshots in photos (ca. 18cm wrist circumference). Though it is on the smaller size (comparable to a 34-36mm round watch), it's a perfect piece if you're looking for a casual-to-dress watch that has that vintage Art Deco vibe, but in its own unique way!

The watch comes with a both a dark brown leather strap and an additional black leather strap. It looks quite handsome with either.

The original box is also included. Outer box is NOT included.

PS I purchased this lovely Longines right here on OF as one of the first watches I bought. The only reason I am selling it is I have completely drained my WABA ( watch acquisition bank account ) and must sell a few to make room for further pursuits. The original seller has graciously allowed me to borrow from his description and images.
