i barely remember a long night in the local market with sesame leaf wrapped raw squid with garlic cloves and pepper paste, washed down with soju shots.... ugh.

i wore a timex indiglo then.

 

Korea.... my memories start with getting off the plane to this pungent rotten odor......kimchi, the entire country reeked of kimchi.
Never did acquire a taste for it.
