This is the wrong place for a WTB post, and it looks like you already made a thread about it. Reported.

That was unnecessary, try E-bay instead.

I dont think multiple treads are alowed and @Dan S helped you in your last tread.

Do you think your choice of words to a well respected member like @Dan S will make other members to go through their parts bins again?

Good luck on your restoration, its a realy nice watch. is it possible to remove the gold plating?

Here was my post: "This is the wrong place for a WTB post, and it looks like you already made a thread about it. Reported."

What words didn't you like? The mods will remove the thread or not, whatever they decide. Reporting a post is the correct thing to do when rules are ignored.

The way you just say reported without even thinking if someone made a genuine mistake . Also was not even aware of that rule. Same as I have no idea what a wtb post is . I am just someone looking for help without much experience with computers. You could have asked me to remove the post and explained to me without being so off .

I have no idea what a wtb post is
Hi Ben. You can use the drop down Forums menu and find "Wanted to Buy" (WTB). There you can find the rules regarding WTB posts. I hope this helps.

Your best bet is to just save a search on eBay and sit and wait something will eventually pop up, there is a gold plated one on eBay now at £260 from the uk or one at £300 on bids stainless steel from japan tho

Please acquaint yourself with the rules of the forum.

And maybe see if you can develop slightly thicker skin, if the word "reported" causes you to go off the rails this way. I could understand it better if you were a member of the snowflake generation, but since you are not tech-savvy, I'm guessing you're actually more mature.
