Hi all,

so i recently found a imo beautiful vintage omega de ville at a dealer in town. The dealer itself sells several vintage and modern watches and jewerlery. The watch comes as it is with 1 year warranty. They claim that the movement works good the age, However, the dealer doesn't strike me as a vintage Omega specialist, so I'd really appreciate your input. Winding it was very smooth, movement started after a few turns, and setting also works smooth.

I haven't been able to find another example with the same case and dial combination during my research. Can you tell me if the combination of case and dial is authentic? I already asked for photos of the inner caseback and movement. Will post them as soon as I get them. Is it a "de ville tresor" from the 40s? Do you might know the reference number?

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks!
