I'm wondering if someone might be able to tell me which reference the #4 bracelet ends were designed for.

they would fit on - and I've seen them sold with - 7912 and 7077 bracelets. #4 is 18mm, right?

 

They were designed for 7077 bracelet. I have seen a Seamaster Calendar cal. 353 and a Seamaster cal. 501 with it, with st. steel case of course.

I remember reading something about the vintage Railmasters using #4 ends. Can anyone confirm this?

 

No Railmaster would take n° 6 (19 mm ).
