Cufflinks?? WTH. All my shirts have buttons already installed, no need for all that "optional" equipment.
Way back when I used to have to wear a suit/tie everyday, I always made sure if I wore cuff links that they matched. It was pretty easy to do since back then I rarely wore French cuff shirts, and my only two pairs of cuff links matched my only watch. These days, I rarely have to wear a suit, much less a tie. I do try to make sure there is some semblance of coordination between the chosen watch for the day and the rest of the attire (most often by starting with choosing which watch and going from there).
