3861 chrono minute hand getting stuck

I have a strange issue going on with my 3861 white dial speedy that I haven’t seen anywhere else on various forums. Posting here for insight. I’ve already sent the watch in under warranty through my AD and the watch came back with the exact same issue after many months. Trying to figure out what else to do/what else to tell Omega. I know I’ll have to send the watch back in for warranty work again but trying to figure out how to better explain what is happening so that the watch comes back fixed this time.

The watch is keeping time well within spec. But when I run the chronograph, the chronograph minutes hand subdial will get stuck on the 8 minute marker and no longer advance. The rest of the chronograph and watch will continue running just fine. The chronograph still stops and resets properly. The issue is only the chronograph minute hand. I’ve tested this many times while the watch is fully wound. The weird thing is that it most commonly happens at 1 hour 8 minutes into timing something. It doesn’t get stuck at the 8 minute or 38 minute mark. Typically at the 1 hour 8 minute mark. Looking at the movement while the chrono is running, the minute hand jumper isn’t moving at all once the minute hand subdial gets stuck. But once I stop/reset the chrono it will work properly again until hitting the 1 hour 8 minute mark. Video attached.

Any suggestions?

Thats really interesting, and I'd love to know what is wrong too. I don't think the hour-subdial would matter at all, it is driven off a completely different mechanism. What this makes me think is it is an intermittent issue where it gets stuck.

Can you take a macro photo through the case back of the back of the hand + the gear next to it + the center gear? Perhaps also valuable would be to stop the chronograph while it is malfunctioning at the top, so we can see the finger that advances the hand.

My only guess would be some tolerance stacking or shmoo in the gears, but a photo might prove a lot. I WILL Say that Omega service centers are better for 'send backs' on warranty/service work, particularly if the OB/AD can make a big case for it.
