321 vs 27 chro C12

Question...is the 27 chro C12 exactly the same as the 321? Are parts interchangeable?

I am not a watchmaker but I do have literature. If I look at the parts list and layout of the 27 Chro C12, there are enough parts, unique to that caliber, instead of part numbers beginning with 320 or 321, to imply that it is not completely the same.
