Hey Vintage Omegaforum members, Wanted a better opinion and wondered if a fresh set of eyes could tell me more about this Omega 30T2 from 1945-46. Haven't seen too many with that type of gilt/gold font indexes, however, the hands/dial and case all resemble other 30T2 SCs found. It also correctly has the bubble style case back to accommodate for the SC movement, and many details look sharp. Just wanted to get a second opinion and hope everyone has a great week!
I cannot say if it's real except for the movement, which I think is genuine. It's a looker; if real I'd love to find one myself.
Likewise my dude, I've been paying attention to some 30T2s casually for a while but have really been taken to them. Best to check it out in person and I suppose I might do just that!
IMO, the dial is original. These dials were common in the mid-late 1940s. My only concern with the watch is the damage around the hands. Beautiful case. Anyone know the reference?
