30CH Spillino Ref 6592-6: Crown Question

Hi all,

I've recently acquired a very cool Ref. 6592-6 from 1968. It is in nice original condition, but arrived with a generic, oversized crown. I was able to source a vintage waterproof Longines crown with a similar profile that I was hoping would be "correct" for the watch, but the tap was undersized, the fit on the case tube is quite tight, and I'm not sure if the outside diameter is ever-so-slightly oversized at 6.0mm (looking at other reference examples I can find it seems like some seem to have more clearance to the edges of the crown recess in the case).

I was (just) able to enlarge the tap to the appropriate 1.1mm, but this left very little wall left on the stem tube, and did not fix my other issue of the tight fit on the case tube. It looks better, but it's a pain to wind given that tight fit, and I'm living in fear of the crown tube failing... so the hunt continues. Does anyone have a 30CH "Spillino" crown they could take a diameter measurement of to assist in my search?

Note that I think there is a correct crown on eBay right now: link (I've pasted listing photos below for posterity), but the seller is after a small fortune (and bizarrely, blocked me after I asked for clarification on the the fact that they'd listed the stem tap at 1.2mm - so that example is off-limits, and I can't place a whole lot of faith in the seller's other listing measurements!).

Anyhow, another wild goose chase for me, a guy who can't help but sweat the details😅. Enjoy the photos of what I think is a beautiful example of a very distinct watch from the end of Longines' golden era.
