Has anyone found a fix for 300M skeleton hands. I love my 300M but the skeleton hands do not show well at night. Frankly, it's irritating in such a fine time piece.

A "fix?" It's iconic to the design of the model. If you didn't like such a predominant feature, why buy this model? If you're an overall fan of the 300m SMP, go with a older Peter Blake version with traditional sword hands.

The skeleton hands on my SMPc show up just fine at night. Amazing lume on this watch. Not really sure what problem you’re referring to or what an appropriate “fix” would be - other than trading in for a different model.

Can't say I've had any problems with mine either. I couldn't see the hands on the No Time To Die watch because they were brushed, but that was a problem day or night. The standard one with polished hardware is super visible to me though

Agree. I find mine highly visible in pretty much any lighting conditions, given the handset's reflective properties -- no problems even when cave-diving last year. I also appreciate how precisely the skeletonization is done, allowing the indices to "peep" through the cutout as the hand passes over them. I get that it's a YMMV thing, but I really appreciate the design and craft that went into this distinctive trait of the SMP Diver.

FWIW, I have the same model as the OP.

I have the previous generation which, as a matter of personal preference, I purchased in 2017 after looking at both the outgoing and incoming models.

Amazing is not the term I would use. The hands contain less luminous material due to the limited surface it can be applied to so will never compare to watches that have the full hands filled with lume.

I did once see a watch with skeleton hands that had been filled with lume. Sort of looked okay but I prefer the skeleton hands myself.

Saw the new Seamaster 300 in blue for the first time. It is wonderful, I think it would be quite a cure if you aren't feeling the skeleton hands....albeit at a price premium.

I was really referring to the overall appearance of the dial and hands in the dark. The contrasting lume (green and blue) works very well and the round hour markers are very bright even after only being charged for a short time. I’ve noticed that when I come indoors from bright sun the lume glows brightly even under normal room light.

Like this? 😉

No watch has better lume than the sword hands SMP in my experience. I like the Bond style but I think they carried the wrong one forward personally as the skeleton hands just aren't as good.

ps your non-AC says hi!

Because they would rather sell you a PO, or trilogy SM or SM300 at a higher price.

In my opinion, without the skeleton hands, He and waves, the SMP will look like every other diver out there.

We are all still waiting for a 2254 reissue.
Why hasn't happened yet?
Agreed. This would be awesome. Updated materials, clasp, and movement with the same design.

No problem seeing mine at night. The black dial coming through the hands looks great almost makes me wish I got black over the white dial.
