Be amazing to visit Peru one day, and chat with some Omega collectors... Find out how much watches actually trade for locally
Alright guys - this is a little test. There's something very wrong with this one. Or rather, the absence of something makes it wrong. Can anyone identify it?
Not near as bad as replacing the minute recorder jumper with a piece of wire...new chronograph drive wheel is $35...
Seems very strange that they would post pics without the chrono drive wheel, especially as it is a relatively inexpensive part
That is total slander IMO. Seller appears completely legit with plenty of watch selling feedback. Nothing looks particularly suspect about the listing to my eyes.
Other than the fact that it's "fully serviced and working great" with no mention of missing parts in the movement?
"This movement is in excellent working condition, it has been fully serviced recently by master watchmakers. " ...without a chrono drive wheel?
The guy is selling 28 watches and has bids in 28, has a good reputation on ebay, maybe is just a mistake, an expensive and important one
Not really the point I was making, it was suggested the seller had no intention of even shipping the watch but is running a pretty active account with plenty of positive feedback. Claims of servicing and poor judgment of movement condition is just every day eBay to me, I mean surely anyone buying off eBay with even the slightest bit of sense factor's in a service. Maybe I should up my expectations though, point taken. Minor issue aside the watch looks very nice, hopefully the 'master watchmaker service' claims put off other bidders if people are so concerned
