    Antiquorum are selling a 2998-4 at there November sale it’s number 83 in the first session

    So many 2998 ‘s appearing gives credence to the hypothesis that there must be at least 6000 left of of the 8000 first made

    They're also selling the platinum skeletonized speedmaster. Idiotic low estimates on some of these lots (3-5k for a 6610 explorer ::screwloose::). I understand it's to encourage bidding but come on.

    I don't like auction houses that set low estimates to attract bidders. Not very professional if you ask me.

    I very much agree ...I think it’s a marketing strategy which backfired in so far as you spend time looking how badly the items are priced and thus tend to be dismissive of the auction houses expertise
