I'd go double what it's at now. LOL Finding that dial would be some project, and expensive too. I wonder if Mr. Spacefruit has a dial for it. Of course if he did, he'd buy that watch!
That I do. however I don't love the look of the case. It's not bad, most after all are polished, but I don't like this one. The seller, while in my experience is honest and straight, does "prepare" his watches, and I prefer barn finds. mind you, the only one I don't have is a -3 so it does hurt to pass it by! but pass I will.
High levels of connoisseurship and patience.... hallmarks of the top-notch collector. I'm still working on both of those things.
Speaking of over-polished, what is your opinion on this ludicrously priced speedy? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OMEGA-SP...t=Orologi_da_Polso&hash=item4ad0310129&_uhb=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The dial is more tropical in certain lights, like most I guess. The sweep second hand was incorrect when I purchased which is the only one I have replaced. Cheers
I only asked because of the condition of the lume on the hands, but they should be radium. The sweep looks black (or steel) in the picture and i assume the picture was taken before the replace. Either way, that's a very appealing Speedmaster.
Well $6110, I think someone got an ok deal. Can look for the proper dial but still have a nice watch whilst looking. Then sell existing dial for reasonable money?
