I've been thinking about sourcing a 1950's BOR for my 2648 as it really doesn't suit brown lizard and I've never been a black strap kind of guy.

I then saw a couple of times the lovely rail track dial Constellation 14381 on 7912 of X350XJR, now that looks seriously cool

That really got me a-thinking and hey presto I popped my 2648 on a spare 7912 that's been lying around waiting for a bit of action :)

I think I like it this way, what do you all think?

The 7912 does look great on these, it sort of lets the dial be the star more than the BoR which is a little distracting.

Excellent look. What end pieces are you using?

I've actually got it on period incorrect 630's, they fit well enough but I really need to get some no. 4's

I think the bigger problem is that it just does not look good on your wrist. Better to turn it over to me and see if I have any better luck.

I think it's a very good match, really picks up the dial shade, especially with bracelet's brushed effect.. Nice job! If anyone hasn't dib'd this then...:whistling:
