    I saw this auction on ebay and offered a low ball offer in the best offer option and it was automatically accepted. Didn't do my due diligence on this one - didn't think the offer would be accepted.

    Seller says the dial is original and never refinished. This look correct to you? I haven't been able to find many black duals to compare to.

    Appreciate your opinion.

    The dial doesn't look to have any glaring issues, but others may see something I'm missing. I think you did well. Not sure if it's 18kt solid bezel. Can't see any hallmarks anywhere. That might be an out if it doesn't measure up in person. Return it as "not as described "

    These black ones are tricky.
    The printing looks good, but I don't like the date hand flaking and tarnished with the dial so fresh looking.

    Thanks for your input. What do you mean by date flip?

    Are there any rules as to the pointy A vs the flat top in Omega?

    Hi Dero13, and everyone.

    Putting my hand up high to say "I am wrong in saying it is a redial". So Sorry for any confusion I have brought to your purchase the seller and this thread.

    :whipped::whipped::whipped:

    I did check the auction but some how I saw the wrong thing, So sorry! The date should be formated/designed/aligned the same along the entire cirumferance. Just as in this example.

    Agree with tpatta, He is right about the dial.

    Me being a fool and speaking to soon.

    ::facepalm1::
    So sorry, please forgive my N00b1 mistake. Good job there are a lot of brilliant people to do check I don't say the wrong thing. So big thanks to them all.

    Finally I would like to congratulate you on a great catch.

    Cheers
    P

    Thanks @MSNWatch. For my education what do you look for on these black dials cosmics for originality? I know the radial flip, 2 tone, size of hand, omega font tells for the white dials - interested to see if there are any additional things to looks for. Also, would love to see any photos of these in your collection.

    Cheers,
    Mike
