Hey all,

I've been a member here for a while but haven't posted much. I'm currently eyeing an Omega 2603-2 Jumbo Spider Lugs, it's got fantastic wrist presence, but I need a sanity check from the vintage Omega experts here.

The watchmaker mentioned upfront that the dial has been refinished/repainted, so I haven't had any luck finding another example with this specific layout, It’s a great-looking piece, but I want to make sure im evaluating it fairly before pulling the trigger..

Any feedback on the case sharpness, how far off the dial printing is from original factory specs, or fair pricing for a redialed 2603 would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like you posted that photo 25 times. 😂

Anyway, as you noted, the dial has been refinished and the case is heavily polished. So it's not a watch that would appeal to a collector. Aside from that, we can't say much about the watch without seeing the inside. But even assuming it's fully legit with the right movement, I would be careful about overpaying, because it could be hard to sell if you wanted to upgrade to something collectible in the future.

Meh. Repainted dial and overpolished case.

Unless it’s £150 I’m struggling to see the attraction.
