Looking at a OMEGA SEAMASTER PO 2201.50.00 with a 8189XXXX serial number sold in 2008 reportedly but I am unsure of which movement is in it. No known service history.

Do any of you know when they started using the 2500c movement as far as the serial number series?

The PO never had the B - it would be a C or D.

Cheers, Al

No idea, but given how watches are assembled I would hesitate to use a serial number range as a definitive answer. I would also not use date wheel fonts - I have already had people ask me about putting the date wheel from a D into a C...

If you PM me the full serial number, I'll check and see if I can find the exact version used in the watch.
