Hi everyone, I'm new to this, but would love to know what more knowledgeable think about this watch. Do you think it's a redial? Frankenstein? Good buy? Any reasons why would be much appreciated, so I can get an idea what to look for and train my eye when looking for vintage Omega watches! For the movement see this link: https://www.chrono24.com/omega/art-deco-vintage-steel-oversize-jumbo-2325-2325--id24018009.htm
Ignoring the watch for now, this is one of the most dodgy dealers there is. Banned from OF multiple times, with a long history of shady claims of services that were likely just a drop of oil, undisclosed redials, etc etc. Just stay away from him. Maximilian from Vienna, if I'm not mistaken.
I don´t want to comment on the seller, only the watch as you asked for assessment and you want to learn: Dial is original, minute hand is correct, hour hand is a wrong replacement. the movement does not look bad, crown is correct, front of the case is OK, also the caseback but there is serious corrosion in the "seating" of the caseback. Considering the issues IMO the price is too high.
