·Hello, I had my SMP300 serviced by Omega and had the dial replaced due to some corrosion (moisture got in, unfortunately). Recently, looking through the returned parts, I noticed a small difference in the applied indices' sizes. As noted in the photos, the 12, 6, 9 indices seem to be "thinner" in the new dial compared to the old one. It looks like the overall dimensions are the same, but the new dial has the outer border- the white-gold(?) - are thicker, which leaves the lume filling appearing thinner.
Research online shows little documentation of this and I have noticed that there are many examples from videos from reviews (both recent and years old), and photos that demonstrate both variations. Going further into this rabbithole, I have learned that apparently, some dials glow blue instead of the usual green.
With all that said, I was wondering if anyone has a clear picture on the different dial variations specific to this reference? Thanks in advance!
