Greetings team,

I'm soliciting input on where to send my recently acquired PO for service. Service history was unknown when I got it, so it must go for a complete overhaul.

I'd like to send it somewhere in New England, and Omega certification is mandatory for the watchmaker. If sending it through Swatch is the best bet, I'm ok with that too. I'm just looking for options.

Thanks!

"Omega certification is mandatory "

I'd say just go to your closest Omega boutique and have them service it.

Appreciated, but there are independent watchmakers who hold certification through Omega. I'm looking for options at this stage.

Plus, in Maine (where I live) there are no OBs or ADs. Whoever I use, I'll either have to travel or mail it off. Research first.

Depending on where you are in Maine, USA Watch Service in Dover NH may be worth a look. I haven’t had them do any work for me but I called to inquire about something and had a lengthy conversation with the owner and he seemed pretty thorough. They are right down the road from me and, call me old fashioned, but I like the idea of being able to walk in and drop it off and talk with the person who will be doing the work. When it comes time, I may use them for service. From what I can tell he is qualified to work on Omega watches.
