Watch came back from service about a month ago. Immediately on inspection I didn’t like the glass. Since the crystal was not chipped or broken they would not replace. The coating on the crystal was spotting and off. They advised they have a coating that does wear in time. I chose to have it replaced. Today it came back and I think it came out killer. New crystal was 240.00.

All in I got the watch for under 1k. The service plus replacing the bezel and crystal 1600. A like new seamaster for 2600. I’ll take that.

Here is some photos. When I get all the parts out I’ll add more pictures.

I was reading through my old posts also and thought I should add. They didn’t replace the clasp. They cleaned it and polished it best they could I assume. It works as it should but it is not original to the watch. It works now. So maybe originally it was just dirty and that’s why it wouldn’t stay shut. I’ll post a picture of the finished product.

I may search for a factory OEM clasp for this model or I may leave it as “the million dollar tech” watch. Wish it said “million dollar man “ he was one of my favorite wrestlers. 😆 anyone know a part number for clasp I would need to restore it to “factory specs “

I did already get a rubber omega strap for it but man nothing looks as good as this factory bracelet.
