The bezels were perfectly aligned when tried these on. Or were they? 🤔🤣

(You want to talk ‘within spec’? Tudor chronos have a beer you can hold.)

My Tudor chrono is dead on. I even posted a pic of the chrono hand n the other troll thread complaining about a 3861 not zeroing exactly. But my point in that was perhaps that guy would be satisfied with that.

Agreed. I don’t want to hijack this most entertaining PO thread with Tudor chatter but you’re one of the fortunate. Three trips to the RSC in Toronto and mine was still misaligned. I know of many others with the same issue. Even the original, massive backlighted Tudor display backdrop at ADs had the chrono hand slightly off centre; the catalogue from 2023 had the same image. Seriously. I was so bummed. I really liked that chrono. My Speedy sets just fine, btw. 👍

Trolls generally disappear if they're not fed.
So true, but sadly its not much else going on here so they just keep feeding it.

Unfortunately, there may be a a bezel issue. Everything aligns on mine until you get to the 30 minute marker. Personally I don’t really mind but it’s definitely an issue.

Is this issue evident on one particular watch or does it exist across the board?

While we're bitching about Omega's website, a couple of years ago they underwent some kind of database update and screwed up a lot of the old reference images. For example, the 2541.80, notice how it's quite misshapen e.g. look at the artifacting around the dial lettering:

I happen to have a copy of that image pre-update, although I had colour corrected it a little so ignore that:

Most of the old images have had this done to them unfortunately.

Hey, Omega fixed this issue finally! The 2541.80 and 2254.50 at least look correct again. Only took em a few years...

Is this issue evident on one particular watch or does it exist across the board?

I've seen a few different examples now posted, but also plenty of people saying theirs has zero play. It seems like it was a QC issue affecting some percentage of them but it's not all of them.

Honestly your dissolutional. I can only presume you are so blinded you can’t see. Imagine you had a speedometer on your car that was out of alignment and you got caught for speeding. Sorry officer Omega said it was an acceptable manufacturing misalignment. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮

”dissolutional”! That is funny! The OP shouldn’t use words he doesn’t know the meaning of! No credibility whatsoever!

I recently tried on the new 2025 planet ocean.

So disappointed by the manufacturing!

Has anyone noticed the indices at 30 does not line through with the luminous square marker on the dial?

I wrote to Omega to question this and was told this misalignment is an acceptable manufacturing tolerance.

Seriously disappointed as it’s such an obvious issue and at such a price point.

Is this an acceptable or should this be corrected.

Photo attached, let me know your thoughts.

I just took delivery of a new Semaster Planet Ocean with a black bezel. There is no question that the bezel is misaligned in several areas. Hence my finding this forum. How do I tell a real one from a good clone - the real one is not aligned properly... My expectation at this price point is simply that alignment be "perfect" to the naked eye. I know I can send it back for "repair" - but I do not want to be without it for a repair period. I have asked my AD for a new bezel and insert - they will call me when they have it in at which point I can send it back for a reasonable turnaround.

Things go haywire at 15, 20, 25, 30 and maybe 35 - then OK 40 through arguably 60.
