I think Johnny Herbert’s might actually be that but not sure if they were sponsoring it that long ago

Yes, and maybe, a best way to keep your watch safe thread, would be useful too?

Looks like it’s possible Red Bull’s streak might end at alarm they’re just not looking that quick around Marina Bay

If Liam Lawson doesn't get a drive for one of the Red Bull teams next year, I'd really like to see him in a Williams partnering with Alex Albon he's a very exciting prospect, sadly Logan Sergeant doesn't cut the mustard.

RB suddenly turning to garbage reminds me of a few seasons ago I think 2015 or 2016 where Mercedes suddenly sucked for one race before turning it back on and winning everything again. Either RB is just trying to show that they’re not miles ahead of that flexiwing clampdown is really impacting them.

Singapore is a difficult track, one bad race doesn't mean the sky is falling for RB even though they look discombobulated this weekend. They'll have to figure out what's wrong. The F1 commentary is bordering on hysterical. The race tomorrow will be interesting,

This would be the most sensible outcome, Lawson has really grabbed his opportunity and has looked sharp. In fact both rookies are strong this year, Piastri has been consistently fast. However, it probably wouldn’t be a good look for Liberty Media to not have a US driver in F1 so I reckon Logan will stay.

While I am a Red Bull and Max fan (reaches for my fire retardant suit), I would be happy to see either Norris or Sainz win the Singapore GP. I'm also hoping Lawson will score his first F1 points.

I am looking forward to a good race on Sunday.

Yes, Lawson in qualifying was so committed and on the edge whilst keeping the car within track limits.. He's very impressive.

Piastri is an amazing rookie, in So Many Ways it feels like he's been here for several Seasons already, he's so consistent, and so cool calm and collected, and keeps Lando honest almost every weekend, and sometimes gets the better of him.. What more could you ask.

Motorsport is huge in the USA, and they have an amazing motorsport heritage, but apart from very few, most drivers find the transition to F1 almost impossible, they don't really have a feeder series aimed at developing F1 drivers, and IndyCar is so different that almost every driver wanting to make the transition from IndyCar gets the shock of their life, and seem completely unprepared for F1.

It would be great to have U.S drivers in F1, but there have to be better drivers than Logan Sergeant, who I'm sorry to say doesn't warrant that (now) much coverted Williams seat, that's not to say he can't improve elsewhere, ideally he should go back to an F1 feeder series i.e. F2, win it and make a comeback, but he doesn't seem to be ready in any way shape or form right now.

So Ferrari on pole and P3, what goes wrong? Do they crash into eachother? Do they bring them in for inters for no reason? Do they double stack and forget the tyres entirely?

Almost… they did double stack but this time left Leclerc sitting for ages just for consistency 😉

Well that was the best race I've watched in a long time. Definitely a slow tactical battle at the beginning but my word those last 20 laps were so exciting - edge of the seat stuff. Carlos was magnificent you have to say. That's world champion driving. Hope ferrari can give him the car to compete.

Heartbreaking for George but he needs to learn from this. The difference with the top top drivers is they don't make mistakes like that when under pressure. Luckily he has time on his side.

What a race - mega!
