That's my speedy in the back.

I found it amazing how the new seamster made the 2015 model so "vintage" looking. It gave me a new appreciation for the old dog that I hadn't had before. I have been on the hunt for a decent spectre but all the ones that have hit the market locally or in the US have been beat and I'm not going to deal with customs, wires and what ifs. Sooooooooooooooo ....

I got mine yesterday and I am more than pleased. Agree with your post that not enough folks are talking about this!

Went hands-on with a steel (black) earlier this week; loved it, it sits perfectly on my 6.5" wrist. It's a bit thicker than I'd like it to be, but seemed manageable, and though honestly very tempted, I passed, for now at least.

Loved the bracelet, even draped in boutique tape, it felt great and the taper is awesome. Can't wait to try the bronze gold, which might be the one to put me over the edge. Local OB is saying sometime in the summer, so it's good I have a cool-down.

You are right, it wears great on smaller wrists. The watch feels thinner than it really is. Likely due to the metal being closer to the wrist and the top being a dome. Bracelet taper certainly helps. The little updates made a big difference.

Bronze gold itself looks great. That brown dial makes the whole experience even better. The shade of brown varies depending on the light - it goes from chocolate brown to really dark brown. Quite cool in person. The watch needs orange, golden brown and dark brown rubber strap options!!!

I like the new bracelet, but I prefer the crown, dial and bezel - so, pretty much everything else - of the outgoing Seamaster 300.

I got mine last week at my local OB. Wears very nicely on my wrist. I do notice that it gains about 5 seconds per day. Is this normal for this new “master chronometer” (METAS certified)? I know its within the limits but I was hoping for better accuracy. Anybody else seeing the same thing?

How’s the bracelet?

The bracelet is very nice. While both the old and new seamaster fit my wrist nice the difference in weight and how the smaller clasp fits is very noticeable. I can bend my wrist without feeling the clasp on the new bracelet and the taper fits nicely right between the wrist bone.

I really like it but since I like the deployants so much, I know it's a diver I get it, I bought a new strap and deployant for it. Waiting for the strap to come in, not sure timeline on that but I will post pics once I get it.

For the mean time though I'm wearing it and enjoying this bracelet.

Try laying it on a different side ? Single wind here and haven't lost any time and I set mine on Saturday to the world clock. I've stored it in the box wrapped around the cushion.

that bezel. 🥰

if only Omega put lumed bezels on more models!
Yep. Thats what pushed me over the edge. The only other one with lumed bezel is the orange bezel / white dial ocean planet.
