They wear and photograph beautifully, but I still struggle with why this watch exists in the first place – it makes an already busy dial even busier, and presents even more choice to a customer that already has too much choice in the AT line.

The date window omits the 6 o'clock triangular hour marker and disrupts the round seconds sub-dial. The awkward trapezoid shape wrecks the circular shapes and disrupts the repeating pattern of triangle indices.

Yeah the models with the round date window are more symmetrical and don't have this issue. I think the design of the smaller watches is actually better. I love the one with the green sunburst dial.

I think these are great looking watches. Odd man out, I guess... if I had a say, I'd lose the date window as well. The AT with the small seconds still seems like it makes a great all-rounder, even with the date window.

Was in transit in Istanbul and they had a very nice Omega Boutique in the duty free with a very good collection, also Omega accessories like cases and glasses etc. Fortunate to have dealt with Hasim who was a gentleman and very courteous, he was definitely an asset for that boutique.

Tried a bunch of watches Ive never seen before, chronoscope, proplof and the new AT small seconds and it was a beauty, looks more sophisticated than the normal AT and more sporty.

Highly recommend visiting that boutique if you get the chance, make sure to ask for Hasim.

So, got mine eventually, here below pics, soon there will be a video.

Your pictures look great, and much better than what Omega has on their site. The blue color is very nice, is it the same color as the regular AT?

The blue is really blue, light blue, turning into dark blue at certain angles. But it always looks blue. Unlike the watches, which are naturally kind of navy blue, then they look black in low light. The strap though is much more greyish...

Here the watch in motion in natural dull light and a bit of sunlight too.

I wonder why OMEGA did not launch the blue one on bracelet? I think it might look pretty cool. Actually I am thinking to buy the bracelet, need to check the price with OB...

Now with no rendering or poor photoshoping -> slate blue small seconds AT on original OMEGA bracelet. It is exactly the same reference for centre & small seconds version.

I don’t like them. Just me
Agreed. The Seamaster 1948 small seconds has a much better aesthetic.

It is a mutt. Just like the latest Bond watch.

The latest Speedy though, I really like it!

The 38mm AT is so nice. Would be nice to see a few twists on that.
Are the lugs not enough!?
