·I just thought I'd share this surprise. I just acquired a 2012 Tissot Carson 35mm watch via a trade for two 1970s Seiko 7009 automatics. The trader also gave me a vintage Tissot bracelet which he said fits his 1970 Omega Seamaster. So I thought I'd try it on my only silver Omega, a 1970 Geneve. The end links were brushed instead of polished though so I instead tried the 2012 Tissot bracelet on my Geneve and...to my surprise, the end links fit it very well, other than a slight hump on one side.
I wasn't expecting the box for the watch either but when we met he gave it to me. It had the usual Tissot booklets which are fun to look through.
Turns out he was the original owner of the watch.
I can see myself wearing the Geneve a lot more now.
