Note: The watch is brand new. Factory single sealed with delicious Swiss Air, which permeates the insides of the factory plastic and the entirety of the watch. Out of all the 5970’s ever produced, this may be one of the last still sealed ones. This is due to CITES regulations which prohibits the shipment of alligator/crocodile products/goods. Thus, most watches will have their alligator/crocodile straps removed prior to shipment. This means, opening the factory sealed box, following which opening the factory sealed plastic and removing the strap! Thus, most 5970’s however “new” do not still retain the factory plastic seal. Making this a truly rare occurance! Provenance: Bought by me from the first owner in late 2007. Watch was double sealed when I bought it, however I had to break open the first factory seal of the box, to actually inspect the watch. Leaving it with the most important seal of all, the sealed factory plastic. Condition: new Case/crown/pushers/lugs/movement- new Bracelet- factory installed alligator leather strap on a Patek Philippe pink gold deployant buckle. Summary- A rare and hard to come by Ref 5970R in Pink Gold. Model has been discontinued. Research shows that only 2000pcs in total were produced. This may be the very last single sealed 5970 of the 2000pcs produced. Payment Payment by Bank Transfer is preferred for these larger amounts, I propose we both exchange ID copies and speak by phone to feel comfortable. Face to face is also always welcome. Price: $175,000 USD includes delivery Worldwide, and insurance can be provided at buyer's expense. Bank wire or cash and carry preferred. Deal can be done anywhere in Singapore. Aston Martin DB5! Now that's a good reason to sell a watch, any chance of a ride? GLWS and subsequent purchase.
Not to be a stickler or anything... but sales rules require a minimum of 3 photos (I really just want to see more pictures) GLWYS!
I think you’re mistakened sir. This is an R, which stands for Pink Gold. I’ve sold the G, which stands for White Gold. As evident in my listing below. https://omegaforums.net/threads/patek-philippe-ref-5970g-full-set-130-000-usd.57726/
Wish I could take more photos. But it’s going to be the same. You can’t really see the watch through the plastic. You could google “5970R”, or you could just simple purchase my watch and see for yourself?
Sure do! I’ll locate you once I get it! https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classi...ARTIN&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New Ain’t she a beaut!
Simply acquiring a DB5........ is, ( let's be honest ), competing ( They are a lousy drive, BTW,......The series 1, 4.2l E Type is a much sharper experience )
Looks like a fantastic example - only 3 owners from new, low miles and direct from Aston Martin Heritage - have you paid the deposit yet!
At this stage of the game, it’s not about the drive. It’s about actually owning one. My dad had a chance to purchase one in 2006. But alas he got himself a 190SL instead locally in Singapore. Series 1 E Type can still be found in Singapore but not the DB5. My dream is to be able to purchase the DB5 and ship it back to Singapore just in time for my dad’s 70th birthday.
