Does anyone know if the a new OEM Seamster 300 rubber strap will work on a 2002 Omega Seamaster professional (James Band) watch Reference #2531-8000. 41MM case. 20MM lugs on case. It has the original steel band currently on the watch.

    If not any other options?

    Thank you.

It should fit - but you might need curved spring bars like I did for the lug holes to line up.

Ahhh, maybe curved spring bars will fix my Seamaster strap alignment issues! Can you tell me where you got yours from please @keisuke_z ?

actually, I picked up a cheap springbar curving tool off Amazon and made my own! There are folks who have success curving springboard using a spoon but I’ve never been able to make it work.

I initially used 21mm springbars but found they were still too tight to fit since it was only a slight curve, so went back with 20mm and the strap feels quite secure.
