·What was my grail is now low man on the totem pole, and a great opportunity for someone to get an insanely crisp 5513.
I got the watch 3 years ago from an estate auction where the consignor was the original owner. His sister bought two 5513 from Rolex NYC in the early 70s, and gifted one to her brother...the other she kept and subsequently sold at the same auction house months later...it was 14 serial off and in the same condition.

Case: Fat and even crown guards and lugs, some bevels are still present, lots of sleeve wear. Ref and serial are super sharp.
Dial: Non-serif feet first in exceptional condition with no chips or scratches. Lume is 100% intact and aged to beautiful dark custard. The 6 o’clock plot as a tiny speck of discoloration as pictured.
Movement: Runs well, but service history is unknown, I would recommend a service if you plan to wear daily.
Hands/Insert/Crystal: Original hands have aged to the same custard color. MK3 insert is faded to a great ghost color and is missing the pip. Original t19 domed crystal is in very good condition with light scratches as expected.
Bracelet: Later 93150 with 580 endlinks.
Overall an exceptional example of the reference. Asking $15.5k shipped in the US, payment by wire. PM or email watchknut AT gmail.com
