Hi guys, I have the speedy racing bracelet for my ck2998 and in the main it’s ok, but I hate the way the middle section of the end link sticks out from the case and thus the main bracelet goes over the end of the lugs (pics attached). Does anyone know of an omega 19mm bracelet that has a more pivoted end link which won’t stick out as much and widen the watch across the wrist? more importantly, where can I get one! Cheers, Steve
Doesn't the 1125 with 617 endlinks fits your case? It may be available trough your nearest OB I think...
I have no idea my friend. That is what I’m hoping to find out. If someone has one on a FOIS or even this watch a pic would be appreciated.
Well, just use the search bar, you'll find this: https://omegaforums.net/threads/fir...-thoughts-and-experiences.99920/#post-1303096
I got the 1125/617 for my FOIS and wasn’t loving the color mismatch. It only showed up in certain lights but it bugged me. The other thing I didn’t like about, oddly, was the perfect fit. When you look at pictures of originals from the 60s, the end links are always a little ill-fitting and sit below the lugs. So, I ordered a pair of the 560 end links from Omega and, somewhat to my surprise, they make all the difference. They don’t fit as well so look much more vintage and correct on the FOIS case. Also, because they are not flush with the lugs, the mismatch in polishing just disappears.
Awesome - thanks for the feedback. I’m going to drop my OB a mail tomorrow to see what they have and what they can order.
I've found that scrubbing a bracelet with Dawn changes the color a subtle amount as well as get it super clean. Tom
