·Hi all,
I have a Speedmaster on the way, and I am looking to get a 1498/840 bracelet for it. I have never been fond of the 1998/840 (too clunky for me), so I was hoping to do a straight up trade.
Due to the discrepancies in value (the 1998 tends to be worth about $100 more than a 1498), I am hoping to do a straight up trade where the person on the other end pays shipping both ways. They'd still be getting a pretty good deal.
I'm looking for a bracelet with (1) a small amount of stretch, (2) that is in very good cosmetic condition (I don't care if it has been polished before), and (3) will fit at least a 7.5" wrist when attached to a full size Speedy.
I'll attach photos once the Speedmaster arrives. As far as I can tell, the bracelet is in top notch shape with all but one link. The previous owner said the clasp can sometimes be hard to shut, but can be remedied by pushing both buttons in when closing it. I'm guessing the issue could be fixed with a new spring or a small bending of a metal part inside the clasp.
Anyone who's interested, please PM me or text/call me at (406) 781-0478.
Thanks a bunch,
Jeff
