For sale is my Rolex GMT Master 16750 with box and service papers from 2009. It has an 8 million serial number, dating the watch to 1983. The 16750 is a transitional reference which (initially) retained the matte dial and acrylic crystal of the 1675, while introducing the calibre 3035 with quick set date and faster beat rate. Case: Very good case that was professionally polished by Rolex during the 2009 service at Bexley UK. At the service the case was given pronounced ‘Bexley edge’ chamfers, reminiscent of Rolex cases of the 50s and 60s. Last two digits of serial obscured in case photo but these are perfectly legible. Original bezel insert that has naturally faded to a salmon and navy shade. Dial: Original matte dial with eggshell patina. Please note there is a small sliver of the dial paint missing between the 10 and 11 o’clock markers. Apart from this the dial is perfect. Original open 6 and 9 date wheel. Bracelet: Very good 78360 Oyster bracelet with minimal stretch. Accessories: Box and service paper from 2009. Last two digits of serial obscured on service paper photo but these are obviously present. Service history: Not known since 2009 but watch is running well. Quick set date working correctly.
