·Up for sale is a Tudor Submariner Date bought in OF from a fellow member.
964,XXX serial number circa 1980/81 production
The case is in good vintage condition with thick and even lugs & crown guards. The numbers are clear between the lugs.
The dial is in good condition with no dial rots as seen in other models. There is no loss of lume with yellow patina developed evenly on all the markers. However, there is a scratch at the dial’s 3 o’clock position on the right edge of the dial. It can only be seen in certain slanted angles and is not visible in daily wear.
All the hands are in good condition with only the snowflake hour hand’s lume being stabilised by the previous seller.
The fat font bezel insert has aged nicely in the same shade as the dial & is in great condition and surprisingly, still retain the original lume pip. Personally, the insert really completes the entire watch.
Movement-wise, it keeps good time and start up with just a few turns. Crown winds smoothly too.
The bracelet is an original 93150 with correct 380 end links in good condition.
I will include the service papers from Rolex USA which dates back to the 1990s.
I am offering the watch at $8,900 USD with buyer paying for the international shipping via Fedex with insurance by ParcelPro.
