·For your consideration is this absolutely beautiful vintage 1978 single owner Rolex Submariner 1680.
Serial: 561XXXX
Dial: Flawless MKIII dial with crazy pumpkin patina! The dial is absolutely flawless and the patina on this piece is just jaw-dropping!!
Hands: Original Rolex Tritium hands matching the dial perfectly.
Case: Unpolished case. Crisp & legible reference & serial numbers. The case shows wear, (Please refer to pictures).
The original owner's name is very lightly engraved on the caseback.
Bezel & Insert: Sharp original bezel with original MKIII insert with Tritium dot present.
Bracelet: Original Rolex 93150 Oyster solid link bracelet with 580 end links. Bracelet is in great shape. Shows minor stretch. VC clasp code = 1978.
Movement: Clean Rolex Cal 1570 is running and keeping good time. Brushed Silver date wheel. There are no service marks on the case and the Plexi is the original one. There is no known service history. (I would say that this watch has probably never been serviced).
Accessories: None.
Notes: One of the nicest white 1680 Submariner currently on offer anywhere. The dial on this watch is absolutely stunning, the patina is so insane that even a "Non-vintage watch guy" will notice it from across the room!
