Hello, I have just acquired a Jumbo Omega Constellation Ref. 168.0062 Tropical Spider Dial from the 1975s, I have a strap to change the problem being that I can't find an original model 1235/226. In addition, I would like to know if you know the value of this watch knowing that for the moment the movement has a problem.

Very little value considering the condition.

Sorry but for some of us what you call "tropical spider dial" is a damaged dial.

Sell? Or just asking price. I would put the value at maybe a few hundred at most, given the various condition issues and the fact that it's not a particularly popular reference.

I have seen on various sites the same watch sold for around $1700, and I wondered if it was worth the cost of being refurbished because I find that it has a certain charm with its dial. But I would not want to waste money by refurbishing a watch that is not worth it...

Maybe there is something special about this reference that I'm not appreciating. Still, the condition of the dial and the missing bracelet will be major issues.

These watches are very much an acquired taste.
Their appeal ( to the very limited few who appreciate them) is the TV dial and the integrated bracelet.

The dial is FUBAR - to Constellation collectors - and the bracelet can’t be replaced easily.
The movt doesn’t work.
Chances are it would cost more to service the watch than it’s worth.

Edit
I’ll just add - if this was a Rolex, the degraded dial would be desirable.
Fortunately, this kind of madness has only infected a very very small cohort of Omega collectors.
