Hi all,
since I'm not very much into military watches, I need your help about a dial of a watch I recently came across.
It's a Hamilton fab four 0552 chronograph from 1974; it has an Hamilton watch marked movement and a Hamilton 17 rubis dial.
In my understanding, serial numbers inside and outside caseback are consistent with a last batch issued by Hamilton in 1974, dial itself looks nice and original to me but I can't find any reference to the Hamilton 17 rubis logo: maybe a later addition on a sterile dial, but afaik sterile dials have white graphic, not gilt.
What do you think?
Grateful for any thoughts and impression from you folks.
Thanks
Alessandro
