Hey, I've found another piece that looks nice to my relatively inexperienced eyes. A 1973 1012 Cal De Ville. The seller says it's all original. It's had a complete service recently and is local to me so I wouldn't need to pay additional import taxes. Bidding starts at just under 600USD with a buy now at 900USD. Hopefully it wouldn't need to go that high. What do you think? I haven't come across a 1012 cal before as far as I am aware.
It's a classical shiny noob trap. Worth max 350-400. Not so sure about the service, lot of dirt. If you like this type of Watch go for a more collectible Ref.166020 with a Cal. 562. Good hunt.
Its an easy trap to fall into. This style of case should have nice sharp lines. Also notice the pitting on the inside of the case but glossy exterior..
