I'm hoping to obtain something suitable for framing. I see nothing out there. When I search "Seamaster", I only find "Speedmaster" posters 馃檨
You've got a real nerve coming on this forum Corrigan!
Not only have you betrayed Jezza numerous times by dobbing him in to Big Suze for so called "betrayals", you've also treated Sophie like shit, absolute shit, and there's no excuse for that!
I hope Jeff comes along and punches you right on your big pointy nose.
And in answer to your question:
I think you should have a good hard look at yourself Corrigan, and forget all about Sophe, she's too darn good for you!

I'm just a normal functioning member of the human race and there's no way anyone can prove otherwise!
1972 Seamaster..........my precious.
Hey Jim, what the ??? are you on about?
Fill us in, my brother.
It's a British (and Aussie) thing Jimbo.
Google "Peep Show", a BBC comedy series that I got hooked on.
And to @mark corrigan, there is only one true "Seamaster" IMO.
Here鈥檚 a good overview of the diver Seamasters.
I boxed in the ones you could probably find as a -72 model, but for this you need a serial of the watch your interested in to narrow it down for a specific year or two precision. Cosmic 2000鈥檚 aren鈥檛 from 1972, but at the end of the 70鈥檌es.
1972 is possible as these were introduced in that year. This one has the original bezel; these did not survive well and most have service bezels. Impossible to say whether the crown is original as these also did not survive well, but service crowns are almost identical to the original so not such a big deal. Apart from that caveat, everything is correct but the lume looks unevenly degraded, though this may be due to the photography. On Chrono24 so likely to be expensive....
ETA: looked at the ad and he only says it's "approx" 1972 so could be any time up to late 70s. For an unserviced one I think that's about half the price again.
Half the price...
