1974 Omega Seamaster 176.007 Blue Dial Chronograph bracelet question

I have had this Omega for close to a year now and i haven't worn it once because the bracelet is too tight. I would need to add one or two links but i haven't been able to find any. The bracelet clasp only says Omega Stainless Steel No 12. They are attached with a Spring bar, which is very peculiar but I have seen it on a few other Omega watches of that period. the bracelet is a 22mm bracelet where it meets the case.
Would you guys know where i can get links for that bracelet?

I'm not sure where specifically you could get links (especially this doesn't look like a more widely produced bracelet like a 1171, for example) but I think you'd have better luck looking for a full bracelet that hopefully has all of the original links. I say this because I recently was searching for end links for a 1171 and found it very difficult to find just the end links for sale. It's much easier to both find parts and more importantly find authentic parts if I opted to buy a full replacement bracelet. Just my two cents though, I bet others here will have more to say and have more knowledge. Good luck!

Your bracelet looks like a rather rare 1054 with 120 end links. The more common combination for a 176.007 would be a 1170 with 653 end links. If you post pics of all dimensions ( width, thickness, length of each part) of a link near the clasp I could check if I have something in my parts box, possibly 1171, 1125 or 1170 links might fit.

Thanks Max. You are correct. the end links are indeed 120. The narrow links next to the clasp are 16mm wide with the middle section of the link being 11mm wide. the link itself is 5 mm wide.

Thanks, yes this one can be ruled out. The bracelet I have uses spring bars to connect the links. It looks like the bracelet above uses screw pins.

You are right, it is the older execution if an 1170 using screw pins. There are also ones with spring bars. I have not seen a bracelet with 11 mm on the last link, interesting.

I am no help on the bracelet, but you could put on a nato strap and wear it while you hunt down some links. Seems a shame not to use it.

I can. I also have a 22mm omega mesh bracelet that i can use but using the correct bracelet would be nice.

I have the exact same watch and bracelet bought off the original owner and confirmed that this was the bracelet it came with, USA delivered. No help with the extra link sorry but it is correct for your watch.

After some reading I suspect, that your bracelet was maybe a JB Champion produced under license for Omega, especially for this modell. I found a 168.088 a few month ago, which has also an unmarked Omega No. 12 clasp and was delivered to the US. Endlinks are also unmarked and I have not seen this bracelet on any other Omega, but it fits perfectly. So looking for JB bracelets for your extra links could be an option.

I’d buy an 1170 to tide me over until I find links that fit. Those watches need to be on a bracelet imo and nothing worse than buying a watch and being unable to wear the bloody thing.

Not too hard to find a 1170, but there would be a 1,5 mm gap on the last link using the 120 end links. And finding 653 end links for the 1170 is a never ending story.

Ah ok. I didn’t realise the 653’s were so hard to find.

It looks more and more like it is going to be a serious dousy to find a link for that bracelet. i will keep on hunting but in the meantime if you guys spot one please let me know. Thanks.
