This vintage 'Devil Diver' chrono is in very good original condition, with the manual-wind Valjoux 7733 movement having a full service in late 2020 which included a new mainspring. The chrono functions (stop, start, reset) all work as they should. This is a great example of a popular vintage diver and provides a great deal of bang for the buck - reduced (and absolutely, definitely final) pricing of USD1,150 thanks to rise in USD value which still includes FedEx or DHL worldwide shipping. Original blue dial has faded slightly with all the with lettering still crisp and legible The sub-dials have also aged to cream. Hands retail their original finish and have all their original tritium, as do all the hour plots - all light up and fade quickly after exposure. The signed 38mm stainless case appears unpolished with chamfers/edges still sharp; original brushing is still apparent with some surface scratches and small dings. Original signed crown. The bezel rotates easily and presents with uniform fading to its current 'ghost' appearance - appears to be a hallmark of these narrower bezels. Some minor indentation between the 20 and 10 markers. The plexiglass is unmarked. Watch is presented on a NOS period JB Champion mesh bracelet - a fabulous combination if I don't say so myself...(spent some time looking for the best match). I have been more of a buyer than seller on OF but have several references from both sides in the Seller Review forum. https://omegaforums.net/threads/excellent-experience-with-kiwibloke.130450/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/smooth-transaction-with-kiwibloke.132135/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/triple-a-deal-with-kiwibloke.113997/ Thanks OF for the space and opportunity.
Tried several straps/bracelets and this combo certainly takes out first prize! Found on eBay from one of the bigger vintage accessory sellers... Regretful sale but making way for incoming SM300 BT which is a/the grail for me...
I own this and the black dial coke bezel model. Grail would be a trilogy with the elusive and expensive Surfboard. Wonderful watches.
Weekend bump (southern hemisphere...) The period Champion bracelet is still as-new and $250 on its own!
Bump with price reduction - with stunning mesh bracelet and recent full service this is ready for your wrist! Still includes international shipping via FedEx or DHL...
@Kiwibloke lovely piece these blue dial 666 are wonderful - not sure what your asking price is as you mentioned USD or NZD??
@DanT asking is in USD - just offered to accept equiv in any other major currency - even NZ dollars…. I use Wise which allows easy set-up to receive payments… I’m wearing it again just now as no-one taken it off my wrist yet! 11 am here in NZ…
Me too! Great condition, full service with new mainspring in last couple of years, and shipping to your door - what's there not to like? How about another price tim then... USD 1,300...
Market is a bit slow at the moment, and custom fees must be considered. But that was a nice watch, congrats to the buyer
