Regular OPs can skip this - they already know about these watches - this thread's intended for newer Forum members (and visitors) who regularly post redialled and franken vintage Seamasters and Constellations (often in poor condition) in the hope that they’ve located a bargain that they can afford.

Have a look at 1970s Geneve automatics, they’re still terrific value. They usually have the same reliable 565/552 movements that are fitted to 60s/70s Seamasters but at a fraction of the price.

They’re attractive, they run well and, of course, they’re still Omegas.
