Hi - new here. Looking for a ballpark valuation on this watch.

Listing Post

Based on the post, what follow up questions should I ask the seller? I don't think I can see the full serial number in the photos. I'm very new to this space but really like the look of this watch. Does the price seam reasonable? Any major red flags here? Thank you.

Hi Ken, welcome on board!
Please post pictures instead of links, they won't disappear later 馃槈

This is a nice model from Omega with a very good wear on the wrist (I own one myself)

The hands you see on the watch you posted are not the ones you would expect for this reference, IMO they are wrong

Correct ones look like that with lume on them and wider

Keep on looking and find a correct one.

They also come as Chronometers and also with sparkle dials which might be also very attractive.

Happy hunting!

I would avoid this one: wrong hands.

Much better to post asking prices along with your pictures.
The second one looks redialed in some pictures but I think it鈥檚 just the picture quality. Other than that it鈥檚 correct aside from the crown. However, these aren鈥檛 that rare and usually come with their bracelet so the price is important.

Apologies, thank you. Asking $680 USD. The crown has indeed been replaced.

166.010 is a very popular reference this one has quick set 565 movement, looks clean I think dial original- these are very prevalent from Japan, they look great on BOR bracelet which would cost about 200-300 if you wanted that so factor into price.

I can't tell if the brushing is intact on the sides of the 166.010.

Heres a listing from OF Watches for Sale from a trusted dealer- your example has less dial spotting- but you can compare and also see how it looks on the BOR bracelet- I believe the correct bracelet is 8220/11 endlinks. I think if you get the watch for 550-600 you can take your time to find BOR bracelet for 200-250 on ebay- you are in reasonable price range. Post the bracelet here before buying there are some fake ones out there and folks here are good spotting that.
