Selling my 1969 Rolex 1016 Explorer I with hacking movement. Thought I’d offer it on OF before trying other avenues. Bought in December 2014 from a well-known dealer. Don’t wear it as much as expected. Selling it to make room for other pieces 😀 Not looking for mega profits here, but I'd be happy to let it go if I can break even.
Hopefully you can assess the condition from the pictures -- took all of them myself except for the movement and case back pics (from dealer as I do not know how to remove the case back). She runs well; probably the most accurate watch I own. I have bought from a few OF members and on eBay have 100% feedback (100+ transactions).
Case: Very good case that has previously been polished and has some wear from use. Has original crystal with a few light marks. Serial#: 2.5M. The case back is stamped II.69
Bracelet: Very Good 62510H D-link Jubilee bracelet with 19 links and 555B end links. Bracelet has light stretch for its age.
Dial:
Excellent dial with matching creamy yellow markers and hands.
