This beautiful and honest watch is for sale. The watch was found in barn find condition by me and since then I had the back gasket replaced (original one had melted) and a new original PZ Omega crystal installed. It runs beautifully (see timegrapher picture), and the chronograph functions works perfectly, yet I do not know the service history. There are some marks to the (original and unpolished) case, of which a more notable one on the tip of the upper right lug - of course these cases can be beautifully re-done if preferred but I kept it as found. After all, it is a 50+ year old tool-watch. The caseback is unpolished as well and the engraving is nice and sharp. Dial and hands are extremely nice with original vanilla tritium. The tritium was UV checked. It matches perfectly both in color as in fade-out time. Internal bezel rotates smoothly and shows some very light patina in certain lighting conditions. The bracelet, which is a correct 1117/549 but with a 1159 clasp, is approx. 16cm long and as the watch measures about 47mm lug to lug, they should fit up to approx. 20cm wrists combined. No extra links. According to me, it is at full length minus one link. I would love to buy this if it is still available, or of the new owner gets cold feet. Birth year watch and grail for me. Thanks.
