Solid 9K gold Omega Geneve 131.25016 using the 601 manual wind movement with serial 28,802,083 hallmarked in London with date letter for 1969. 34mm case dia exc crown. This was serviced 2 years ago by Duncan Potter at Genesis Watchmakers and is running strongly and accurately, gaining about 3s per day only. Service paperwork will be provided.

The case is in exceptional unpolished condition, all bevels and sharp edges are present, there is a very small dint on the bezel, but it is otherwise very tidy for something rapidly approaching 50 years old. This has an untouched Champagne coloured full applied Arabic numeral dial with a faint vertical brush, a much less commonly seen option for Omegas of this era than stick indices. I have seen it postulated that this kind of dial was a special order for the UK market only. This is discussed here:

You certainly see far fewer full numeral dials than those with stick markers. The crown and crystal are unmarked but unsigned so may not be original but fit the watch perfectly. They weren’t changed by me in my ~4 years of ownership but I think it is only fair to point this out.

Fitted on a brand new black Italian buffalo calf leather strap with GP unsigned buckle. Lugs are 18mm.

Watch is located in Birmingham UK, face to face viewing is welcomed. The sale should be considered final other than for an issue arising not mentioned in the listing.

Price now £550 GBP NOW SOLD including Insured EU delivery. I know folks hate the phrase but the price is ‘net to me’. Shipping elsewhere will be considered, try me.
