·Steep price but the heart wants what the heart wants. $2k is not that high compared to (non c-case) other vintage watches. Good luck.
So why not pay $3000 as that’s also not that high to other vintage watches?

·The problem with falling in love with a watch and overpaying is that eventually the love affair ebbs and you find yourself selling at half your purchase price.
Does seller offer a watchmakers detailed service receipt? Is there a warranty with recent service? If no, then it hasn't really been serviced.
I have several of these in comparable condition- they are not rare at all- IMO with documented service WITH a bracelet the max "in love" price would be around $1500, and $1000-1200 head only.

·I've seen worse for more money, assuming you're buying from the same country that you reside and import taxes aren't on top of that. The first photos looked rough, so I'd be wanting to see it in person if I were buying it.
I'd also want a bit more info on movement condition. I'd want to see time-grapher results and photos of the movement and inside the case back.

·Fair and very realistic market price (say chrono24) is 1100-1500 EUR (serviced, good condition, legit business seller).
